Ferrety Pie - A Ferret Pony

For the Animal Swap at the MLPArena forums I got jupiternwndrlnd as my partner, and when I read her favorite animals it was almost an obligation to make a ferret pony!

Since the plans I had for this pony were gonna require a lot of detail painting, I got a Styling Size Pinkie Pie to have enough "canvas" to work on . I used Pinkie's original body color (a first for me actually!) and painted over with acrylics and retardant medium, which made the paint sticky and also acted as a sealant, so the paint won't get scratched easily . I painted all the ferrets (most of them taken from actual pics from jupi's ferrets ) and the eyes with a limited palette of purple, green, blue and white in a realistic way. I even tried a new more realistic style of eyes that I loved to do .
She was rehaired with Dollyhair's Atomic Turquoise, Lucky Clover, Raspberry Sorbet and some streaks of Moonlight and signed on the NDS side of her . I hope you enjoy her jupi! ^^
