Finally! Took me a while to finish, but it's done! Here's my tutorial on how to make a custom Celestia like mine :D. It covers from the very start, where I strip Celestia from her plastic mane and tail, to the end with grooming advice. It's a very lengthy process (and a lengthy read!), but I did my best to explain with detail each step. I also included a lot of pictures because I'm pretty sure it will be easier to understand with pictures, sometimes even more than with words hehe ^^. If any of you get to use any of my tips or tricks, or get to the task of making your own Celestia using this tutorial, please credit me and show me what you did! ^^.

Hope this helps everybody and answers your questions about my approach to this project :D.

Hey, is there a way to make the Sculpey necklace removable? I don't like the idea of having it permanately stuck there.

I have a brushable Celestia, but I want to redo the main/tail.
Would I be better off using another tutorial for rehairing it? Or would the way you put brushable hair on it work too?

Can I ask what kind of brushes or tools you use to paint.. Like what brushes dont leave streak marks. And what might be best to paint small details like the eyes & cutie marks?

If people are afraid boiling or baking the clay....Could cold porcelain or air drying clay work?

I believe she just painted over it with white paint :) and used air-dry clay to fill in the hole made from taking out the mane

This is such an amazing tutorial! I really want to try this! I would just be very nervous about the rehairing...I'd be afraid that I'd mess up...
